How do I buy a case?
You can buy Planique Crimes cases through Etsy. Each case is offered as a digital product.
Is this a physical product or a digital download?
This is a digital product. Nothing will be shipped to you by mail.
What happens after purchase?
After your purchase on Etsy, you will receive access to the digital files, instructions and the case website.
How long does a case take?
Most cases take around 1–3 hours, depending on your pace and group size.
How many people can play?
You can play alone, as a couple or in a group. There is no fixed maximum number of players.
Can I play alone or with others?
Both are possible. You can investigate on your own or solve the case together as a group.
Do I need special programs or apps?
No. You only need a current web browser and an internet connection. No additional app or software is required.
Can I play on my phone or tablet?
Yes. The case websites can be opened on a phone, tablet or computer. A larger screen can make reviewing documents easier.
Do I need to print anything?
No, printing is optional. You can play digitally or print the case file if you prefer a physical investigation experience.
Are the cases available in German and English?
Yes. The case content and website can be switched between German and English.
Can several people use the same password?
Yes. Members of the same group can use the same password and open the case on different devices. There is no fixed player limit.
What if I want to play later or the password has expired?
The password is valid for one month. If you have already logged in, your browser will usually remember your access. If it expires before your first login, contact me through Etsy.
Can I pause and continue later?
Yes. You can pause your investigation at any time and continue later. It is best to use the same device and browser.
Can I give a case as a gift?
Yes. You can forward the downloaded instructions or print and package the case file as a gift. If the password has expired by the time the gift is opened, the recipient can contact me through Etsy and I will provide a new one.
What can I do if the download or access does not work?
Check your Etsy purchases and your browser first. If you still cannot access the case, send me a message through Etsy and I will help you.
